24/7 Express Logistics Customer Q&A with Quest Diagnostics

Recently we sat down with our customer, Quest Diagnostics for a quick question and answer session to ensure their satisfaction and continued success. Following are responses from Quest Diagnostics’ Senior Manager of Logistics Operations:

  1. What challenges, obstacles or needs were you facing that led you to seek the services/solutions provided by 24/7 Express Logistics?

We typically get client requests for adhoc types of service or long haul service. This is where our internal structure is quite limited and the flexibility of a 3PL partner is most helpful in meeting those service levels.  

  1. Describe your selection process and what were the primary drivers leading to your choice of 24/7 Express Logistics?

We look at quality and cost mostly. Efficiency is good too but if we can’t get good quality then it’s not worth whatever the cost ends up being. So even over cost, quality will always win out for us. I’m always willing to spend a bit more if it gets us a better quality of service.  

  1. How was the process working with 24/7 Express Logistics to solve your challenges and/or improve your service?

We’ve held F2F meetings, conference calls and are in constant contact via email. Their leadership team has been engaged from the start and is typically very responsive in meeting our needs or resolving our concerns.  

  1. What business process/function does your service from 24/7 Express Logistics enhance? 

Their partnership has allowed us to flex in meeting client service levels at an affordable rate. Where our internal structure falls short, 24/7 is able to fill in the gaps and do it on very short notice. 

  1. What are three words you would use to describe your experience working with 24/7 Express Logistics? Would you recommend 24/7 Express Logistics to your industry peers?

Efficient, Responsive and Affordable. I think they are a viable and necessary resource for any company with a niche clientele such as Quest. Among the various 3PL solutions we’ve used, I think 24/7 has been the most reliable and pleasant to work with.
